Bumper Cover Support Rail Bracket is one of the small body fittings on your Volvo that hold trim, panels and seals in place. Genuine Volvo part number 31290702.
These parts are consumed rather than repaired: they break on removal, corrode, or lose their grip and let the panel they retain move. Match by part number — body hardware is dimension-critical and a 1 mm difference in shank or reach is enough to stop it seating.
Do not over-torque these fittings — the plastic or thin-gauge body panel strips before the fitting does.
Body Brackets Bumper Cover Support Rail Bracket replacement for Volvo. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
