Sun exposure and repeated flexing make the mounting tabs brittle over time, so a cover that looks intact can still rattle or gap along the fender line. Match the cover to trim level and sensor provisions — a cover for a car without park-assist has no cut-outs for the sensors and will not accept them.
Supplied uncoated, so it must be primed, sealed and painted before installation.
