Body C-Pillar is the exterior trim strip on the Volvo that carries the character line and shields the paint underneath from impact. Genuine Volvo part number 32228291.
Once the retaining clips break the moulding will not sit flush, and water trapped behind it starts the corrosion cycle on the panel edge. Check whether the original is a chrome, black or primed insert; the mounting channel is shared but the insert finish is not.
Supplied ready to fit; the original clips are usually brittle and should be renewed at the same time.
