Body A-Pillar sits on the Volvo body side as a sacrificial rub strip and as the visual break between door and quarter panel. Genuine Volvo part number 31301396.
The clips fatigue and the adhesive-backed tape lifts at the ends, so the strip works loose and starts to flap at speed. Trim is side-specific — a left-hand strip will not fit the right-hand side of the same car. Confirm the side before ordering.
If your original used double-sided tape, clean the panel with a wax remover before fitting the new strip.
Pillar Moldings Body A-Pillar replacement for Volvo. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
