Base(R) Mirror forms part of the exterior mirror on the Mazda and either carries the glass or houses the mirror mechanism. Genuine Mazda part number dfy0691ax.
Mirror damage is almost always impact-related — a clipped pillar, a tight garage or a car wash — and the housing cracks while the mechanism survives. Mirrors are handed and often model-year specific; confirm the side and whether the car has power-fold, heating or a camera.
Glass is supplied ready to fit; take care not to touch the reflective surface when seating it.
