Base(R) Handle mounts inside the Mazda door shell and takes the wear that repeated use puts on the door. Genuine Mazda part number da6c5842xa.
Broken returns springs, stretched cables and worn pivots show up as a handle with no resistance or a door that needs a slam. Trim level affects whether the door carries a sensor, a soft-close or a keyless aerial, so confirm the original part number first.
Access is from inside the door, so removing the trim panel is part of the job — order new panel clips if the originals are brittle.
Door Handles Base(R) Handle replacement for Mazda. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
