Base(L) Mirror forms part of the exterior mirror on the Mazda and either carries the glass or houses the mirror mechanism. Genuine Mazda part number bcy2691ay.
Heated glass delaminates and the mirror motor strips its gears, so a mirror that will not adjust or will not clear usually needs this part rather than the whole assembly. A mirror with a turn-signal repeater has a different wiring connector from a plain one, even though the housing looks the same.
Glass is supplied ready to fit; take care not to touch the reflective surface when seating it.
