Base Hinge is part of the door assembly on your Mazda and carries load every time the door is opened, closed or locked. Genuine Mazda part number EC018871YG.
Broken returns springs, stretched cables and worn pivots show up as a handle with no resistance or a door that needs a slam. Trim level affects whether the door carries a sensor, a soft-close or a keyless aerial, so confirm the original part number first.
Check the door alignment after fitting, as a worn part often masks a hinge that also needs adjustment.
Door Hinges Base Hinge replacement for Mazda. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
