Back Door Pull Handle is fitted to the Nissan door structure and is one of the parts that fails first once the door has been used for a few years. Genuine Nissan part number 90940-6TA0A.
Water ingress past a failed seal corrodes the internal linkage, which is why the symptom appears suddenly after a wet season. Front and rear doors use different part numbers even when the handle or hinge looks identical.
No paint required; the part mounts behind the door trim panel.
Door Handles Back Door Pull Handle replacement for Nissan. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
