Back Door is fitted to the Nissan door structure and is one of the parts that fails first once the door has been used for a few years. Genuine Nissan part number 9001A-6RB9D.
Water ingress past a failed seal corrodes the internal linkage, which is why the symptom appears suddenly after a wet season. Trim level affects whether the door carries a sensor, a soft-close or a keyless aerial, so confirm the original part number first.
Access is from inside the door, so removing the trim panel is part of the job — order new panel clips if the originals are brittle.
Doors Back Door replacement for Nissan. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
