Back Door mounts inside the Nissan door shell and takes the wear that repeated use puts on the door. Genuine Nissan part number 9001A-6RB7C.
Water ingress past a failed seal corrodes the internal linkage, which is why the symptom appears suddenly after a wet season. Front and rear doors use different part numbers even when the handle or hinge looks identical.
Access is from inside the door, so removing the trim panel is part of the job — order new panel clips if the originals are brittle.
Doors Back Door replacement for Nissan. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
