These panels take stone chips and road spray directly, so corrosion usually starts at the arch lip or behind the liner long before it shows on the outer face. Check whether the original panel has an aerial hole, a side-repeater cut-out or a cladding mounting provision.
Seam sealer and cavity wax are required along the inner joints after fitting to keep corrosion out.
