Apron/Rail Assembly Nut is a body fitting on the Volvo that the exterior panels and trim depend on to stay located. Genuine Volvo part number 973103.
Original fittings become brittle with age and heat cycles, which is why a clip that held for ten years snaps the first time it is disturbed. Confirm the model and year range on the listing; the same fitting is often used across several models but not across every year.
Do not over-torque these fittings — the plastic or thin-gauge body panel strips before the fitting does.
Clips & Fasteners Apron/Rail Assembly Nut replacement for Volvo. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
