Applique Panel Mount Cushion sits on the Mazda body side as a sacrificial rub strip and as the visual break between door and quarter panel. Genuine Mazda part number ea0150818.
The clips fatigue and the adhesive-backed tape lifts at the ends, so the strip works loose and starts to flap at speed. Length and clip spacing differ between sedan, hatch and wagon bodies even where the model name is the same.
Pre-fit the strip dry before removing the adhesive backing so the end gaps line up.
Appliques Applique Panel Mount Cushion replacement for Mazda. Cross-check the part number against the component you are removing before ordering.
